How to apply for Broadway auditions
If you’re interested in auditioning for a Broadway musical or movie role, the Broadway Casting App may be your best bet.
The app allows you to choose from the various types of Broadway auditioning opportunities available on the web, including auditions for shows like Hamilton, The Book of Mormon, and the upcoming Hamilton, with auditions scheduled for all four major Broadway cities: New York, Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia.
The Broadway Casting app is free, but you’ll have to sign up for a membership and pay a monthly fee.
The membership also includes access to Broadway Casting’s “Live” casting opportunities and a dedicated casting couch where you can work with actors on the go.
Once you sign up, you’ll be able to check in with Broadway Casting every Tuesday at noon to see if you’ll qualify for a live audition.
There’s no set date or time, so you may have to wait for an audition.
But you’ll get to see the actors and the cast on a daily basis to be able compare your performance to their.

What is a Broadway Casting?
A Broadway Casting is a professional casting audition that takes place in person or on Skype.
It’s for a show in a specific city.
There are usually two types of auditions: a free audition, which is the only audition available to all cast members, and a paid audition, which you must pay for.
A free audition is free for everyone except those who have a Broadway ticket or are a part of a Broadway cast.
You don’t have to show up to an audition to take part.
Your audition will be recorded for posterity, but no auditions will be released publicly.
The paid audition requires a membership, which costs $35.
The free audition will have three actors (who will be cast for a certain number of performances) and a script.
The cost of the paid audition is $40 for a maximum of four performances.
The audition will include a set schedule and a video of the audition and casting couch, and all castmembers must sign a non-disclosure agreement.
If you can’t make the auditions online, you can call the casting office to arrange for a meeting.
How to get to a Broadway casting office?
Call (800) 631-3160, or visit Broadwaycastingapp.com.
There, you will be directed to the Broadway casting app.
Once there, you should see the casting couch on your right-hand side, which contains all the castmembers, including cast members who will be auditioning online.
The casting couch will be open to the public, and if you want to leave, you need to get permission from the casting director.
If that’s not possible, you may also need to contact the casting manager.
Broadway Casting also has a mailing list of audition opportunities for casting members.
If your audition is scheduled to take place in New York City, you must sign up before March 15, 2019.
You can also email [email protected] with the subject line “Audition.”
The castmembers of Hamilton, Hamilton, and The Book and the forthcoming Hamilton will be in New Jersey.
If an audition is available in Philadelphia, you might need to call (215) 682-7140 to speak with the casting agent.
How much is Broadway Casting a lot?
Broadway Casting charges $30 for a single performance and $75 for three performances, which include an audition and a phone call.
The amount you pay for a performance is dependent on how many actors are auditioning.
For example, a Broadway performance requires five actors and five scripts.
There is no minimum number of actors required for a successful audition.
What are Broadway Casting requirements?
Broadway casting requires you to pay a minimum of $25 for a full performance and an additional $25 per performance to take the stage and take part in a phone conversation with the director.
This fee is dependent upon how many people auditioned.
If more than two actors audition for a part, the director may require that you pay an additional fee.
What can I do if I don’t make it to the audition?
You can still submit an audition request to [email protected]
You may also email [email protected] and ask for help with scheduling a phone interview.
The cast of Hamilton and the Book and The Broadway Show are all scheduled to perform on Broadway, and each show will have at least one cast member who will audition.
If the casting is held in a city with a Broadway theater, you could also request a phone or Skype interview with the theater’s director.
What if I get an email about my audition being cancelled?
It’s unlikely that you’ll ever hear about your cancellation.
The Casting App will contact you once your audition has been scheduled.
It is important to understand that the casting team is always monitoring each casting appointment to make sure it goes smoothly
